Bring the Hammer Down

     Illustrating a truth of The Power of Believing (Main Healing Lesson 13) 
          and Mending the Broken Heart (Main Healing Lesson 16)

If you have experienced a traumatic event long enough to have sufficiently grieved it, then it is high time to bring the hammer of God's Word down on that event. The magnificent promise of Romans 8:28 assures us that God can and will bring a greater good out of anything the enemy intended for evil. This is the astonishing power of the redemption Jesus won for us, but it does us little practical good if we don't believe it over our areas of hurt and loss. Fall totally out of agreement with the enemy’s perspective on your life that he tried to feed you. Forgive all; release all. Then, ask the Lord to forgive your unbelief and confess the Truth until your heart finally gets the message. Leave no room for self-pity—believe His promises and feed on the sweet meat of a redeemed life!
