Plans A, B and C

Illustrating a truth of Mending the Broken Heart (Main Healing Lesson 16)

It is hard to go forward carrying the past with us. One of the hardest things to let go of are broken dreams. Because the dream gave us hope and vision for our future, we can’t imagine how our life can work out now that it is broken beyond our ability to repair it. Take heart!  The Father is the giver of every good gift and He is never at a loss for new dreams to give us—dreams of a restored life and a fresh start. It could go like this: Plan A, the dreams God gave us got us pointed in the right direction; Plan B, the enemy "busted" those dreams by our own sins or those of others and now there is no going back; Plan C, we surrender all to Christ our God, fully forgive and release the past, and stand ready to walk into a bright future following new God-given dreams!
